Welcome to Punyakoti Trust

Punyakoti Trust has completed a Rs. One Crore project - a free hostel for girls from poor families -- in Penumale village Bagepalli taluk, Chikkaballapura district, Karnataka 561207 in association with AIM for SEVA an organisation founded by Swami Dayananda Saraswathi.

Starting June 2015, 40 girls are housed there, provided food, uniforms, textbooks, etc., and schooled, all free of cost. The trust has donated 1.2 acres of land and brought in a donation of Rs. 85 lakh for the project from Mr. Ramesh Kesanupalli of San Jose, California.

The hostel is equipped and managed by AIM. (All-India Moement) for SEVA, runs 120 such hostels for both boys and girls all over India.


 

- Few Highlights on Punyakoti Trust -

  • Opening windows to government schemes for rural development and acting as goodwill ambassadors
  • Creating employment opportunities through skill development centers, English language training, digital learning, and the like
  • Several students have been provided free board and lodging facility in Bengaluru's B.K. Mariappa Hostel over the years
  • Fostering harmony in rural societies thru socio-cultural activities
  • The trust invited and provided accommodation in the village to two Hindu Seva Prathishtana volunteers for about 2 years.
